New lens (And thankful for Friday)

 
If you've been reading for a while then you will remember my excitement here, when Colin bought me my DSLR camera for my birthday. Today I bought a new lens for it, the Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II. It's amazing! These are literally the first couple of shots I took with it as soon as I got back from the expo. They are all unphotoshopped pics - except for the fact that I took then on a custom user profile which enhances saturation and contrast a bit.

 If you understand photography then you'll get it, but if you don't, well then just look forward to lots of pretty photos from me in the future.
