I am still alive! I made it back from our AMAZING trip and I am planning to post a more detailed look at the trip but for now I'm just trying to get my life back on track and my head out of Europe.
So for now, here are two of my favourite photos I took in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Here's something to think about...the black letters at the very top of the photo above...are 3m tall. It's the biggest church in the world and it's mind blowing!
Below is a look up at one of the domes with windows letting light in and a micro mosaic covering the inside of the dome.
